A “Resident Customer” must reside within the
incorporated limits of the City of Fort Lauderdale and provide the
documents listed in items A, B, C and D:
current driver’s license
current vehicle registration.
current utility bill (within the past 30 days). Acceptable utility bills are
water, electric, natural gas, or cable.
valid twelve-month residential lease or proof of ownership of homesteaded
property within the incorporated city limits of the City of Fort Lauderdale.
The name and address on all 4 documents must
be the same. All addresses must be
within the incorporated city limits of the City of Fort Lauderdale.
A minor (under the age of 21 years old) may provide a
signed and notarized affidavit from their parent or guardian and all of the
required documents listed above.
Resident documents will be required each time a Resident
Beach Parking Permit is purchased or renewed.
All parking citations must be paid prior to the purchase
or renewal of a Resident Beach Parking Permit.
The Resident Beach Parking Permit must be affixed to the
front passenger side of your windshield. Failure to properly display the
Resident Beach Parking Permit will result in a citation.
If the Resident Beach Parking Permit is lost or
stolen there will be no refund. In order to purchase a
replacement Resident Beach Parking Permit, in the case of a lost or
stolen permit, a Police Report is required along with all
necessary proof of residency documents. If the conditions in this agreement
are met we will consider one replacement Resident Beach Parking Permit
Parking is on a first-come first-served basis. The Resident
Beach Parking Permit does not guarantee that there will always be a parking
space available and does not give the bearer preference for entrance to the
lots. Parking spaces may not be reserved and violations may result in the
confiscation of your Resident Beach Parking Permit.
Resident Beach Parking Permit is not valid when special event parking is
in effect. Special events include, but are not limited to, the Air and Sea
Show, the International Boat Show, the Billfish Tournament, and the Winter fest Boat Parade.
Parking fees are not refundable. If for any reason
Beach Parking Permit holder pays to park in any of the beach locations,
the parking fee will not be refunded.
Resident Beach Parking Permit is intended for individual resident use
only and is not for resale, or commercial, industrial or business use.
Residents may not transfer ownership of their Resident Beach Parking Permit
with the sale or lease of their home or vehicle. A Resident Beach Parking
Permit shall not be resold or assigned for profit. Abuse or misuse of the Resident Beach
Parking Permit will result in the confiscation of the permit and denial of
any future purchase. A Resident Beach
Parking Permit shall not be copied, reproduced, or altered in any manner.
Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Resident Beach Parking Permit fees are due at the
time of purchase. A Resident Beach Parking Permit is valid for one (1)
calendar year. The expiration month and year will be punched out of the Resident
Beach Parking Permit and will not be valid with multiple punches. The current purchase price of the Resident
Beach Parking Permit is $24.00. Customers may order a Resident Beach
Parking Permit online and have the permit mailed to them for an additional
charge of $6.00 to cover
the cost of shipping and handling, which is subject to change based on the US
Postal Service certified return receipt first-class rates.
check payment is returned or a charge back on a credit card is received the Resident
Beach Parking Permit will be considered VOID and a $25.00 returned check
fee will be assessed.
13. Parking citations
will be issued if warranted without exception for any violation of these
instructions or for any violation of City Parking Ordinances and local or state
laws. Citations will not be voided.
14. Parking Services is
not responsible for loss, theft, or misuse of the Resident Beach Parking
Permit. The City has the full and
sole discretion to revoke a Resident Beach Parking Permit or not to
renew a Resident Beach Parking Permit. The City reserves the right to
pursue any and all legal remedies to any infractions of these
15. The terms, conditions and restrictions set forth herein are
subject to change and the City of Fort Lauderdale reserves the right to
discontinue this program at any time. The Resident Beach
Parking Permit fees are subject to change
annually or when the City Commission approves changes.
The Resident Beach Parking Permit is valid
ONLY in the following 3 locations.
• Fort Lauderdale Beach Park: 700 Seabreeze Blvd. located at the corner of South Atlantic
Boulevard (A1A) and Seabreeze Blvd.
• E Lot Birch/Las Olas
located east of the Intracoastal and north of the Las Olas Bridge.
• North Beach: Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. north
of Sunrise Blvd. on the east and Westside of A1A north to NE 19th St.
